Lately, the #petcare space has been buzzing with collaboration—think Stella & Chewy’s landing on Target shelves, Tevra Brands rolling out Vetality products at Walmart, and Huxley & Kent teaming up with regional distributors. It’s all part of a bigger trend: pet care brands around the world are joining forces with retailers and distributors to expand their reach and connect with more #petowners.

We’ve noticed this wave of activity spanning food, wellness, and accessories. Brands aren’t just sticking to their usual channels—they’re tapping into mass-market retail and new distribution partnerships to grow. Here’s a closer look at some of the latest moves:

Stella & Chewy’s: Now at Target Nationwide

U.S. #petfood brand Stella & Chewy’s has officially launched in Target stores across the country, bringing its freeze-dried raw and baked kibble products to more #petparents. The brand also went live on Target.com back on August 31, making its products even easier to shop.

“Target is the perfect partner for us—millions of pet parents already shop there for their whole family, so it’s a natural fit,” says Dave Champlin, Chief Sales Officer at Stella & Chewy’s.

Founded in 2003, Stella & Chewy’s offers a wide range of dog and cat products: freeze-dried dinner patties, meal mixers, frozen patties and morsels, raw-coated kibble, stews, broths, and treats.

Tevra Brands: Vetality Line Hits Walmart in 2025

American pet wellness firm Tevra Brands launched a new line of Vetality™ wellness products at Walmart stores in August 2025. The lineup includes products for digestive support, pain management, functional wellness, and behavioral care—all tailored to help pets stay healthy.

“Pet owners are putting more focus on their pets’ wellness these days—just like they do for their own health,” says Elizabeth Kroll, VP of Marketing at Tevra Brands. “These Vetality products offer vet-recommended support at a price that families can trust.”

Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Tevra Brands creates vet-quality solutions for #pethealth, wellness, and pest protection. It currently sells products under two brands: Vetality and TevraPet.

Huxley & Kent: Teaming Up with Fauna Foods for Regional Reach

Tennessee-based #pettoy and accessories maker Huxley & Kent has partnered with Fauna Foods—a family-owned #petproducts distributor—to expand its presence in the Northeast. Fauna serves independent #petretailers across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and will now distribute Huxley & Kent’s top-selling toys and accessories.

Founded in 2012, Huxley & Kent is a women-owned brand focused on stylish, functional pet products. Its lineup includes toys, neckwear, hats, and harnesses—all designed to blend form and function.

McLovin’s Pet: Launching at Petco with Premium Treats & Meals

McLovin’s Pet—the #petnutrition arm of Caduceus Software Systems Corp (CSOC)—has rolled out its premium treats and meals in Petco stores and on Petco.com. Right now, the brand has 15 SKUs available at Petco locations nationwide, with projected annual sales expected to hit $6 million.

The Petco lineup includes McLovin’s best-selling freeze-dried treats and complete meals, made with high-quality proteins and no artificial preservatives, colors, or fillers.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Petco—this lets us bring McLovin’s to more pets and pet parents than ever before,” says David Ji, CEO of Caduceus Software Systems Corp. “Petco’s commitment to #pethealth and wellness lines up perfectly with our mission: to make nutritious, responsibly sourced products that pets love and owners can trust.”

Based in California, McLovin’s #Petmanufactures and distributes premium pet nutrition products, specializing in natural, freeze-dried raw treats and meals.

Kormotech: Entering Estonia with Regional Distributors

Ukrainian pet food manufacturer Kormotech has expanded into the Estonian market after signing a deal with a major regional distributor (details on the partner were not disclosed). The distributor will handle sales in traditional retail and specialized #petstores, plus support Kormotech’s entry into Estonia’s e-commerce space.

Through the partnership, Kormotech is bringing several of its brands to Estonia: Optimeal, Club 4 Paws, Delickcious, and My Love. “My Love, in particular, is growing fast since its recent redesign,” the company notes.

“Estonia is a key part of our regional strategy through 2028,” says Maksym Tsymbal, Country Manager for the Baltic Region. “We’re here to strengthen our position among the top players in the category.”

The Bones & Co.: Expanding in the Pacific Northwest with IPS

Texas-based pet food brand The Bones & Co. has partnered with Independent Pet Supply (IPS)—a family-owned distributor serving retailers across six states—to grow its retail footprint. The partnership will bring The Bones & Co.’s products to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

The Bones & Co. makes raw pet food with 95% meat, organs, and bones. It focuses exclusively on independent brick-and-mortar retailers and doesn’t sell online.

“At IPS, we believe in organically sourced ingredients and local production—and The Bones & Co. lives those values,” says Keya Khorami, owner of Independent Pet Supply. “This partnership makes it easier for independent retailers in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii to stock one of the fastest-growing raw pet food brands in the industry.”

Zomedica Corp: Partnering with Pioneer Veterinary for UK Expansion

American veterinary health company Zomedica Corp has teamed up with Pioneer Veterinary Products Limited—a UK-based veterinary distributor—to expand its presence across the UK.

Pioneer will exclusively lead sales and support for Zomedica’s small animal products and act as a non-exclusive distributor for its equine lines. This means Zomedica’s TRUFORMA diagnostic platform will now be available in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The company also plans to introduce its VETGuardian remote monitoring technology in the UK later on.

“As we move forward, we hope to add more Zomedica products to this partnership,” says Kevin Klass, Senior Vice President of Sales at Zomedica. “The UK is a critical market for us, and we’re confident this relationship will speed up our growth and help vets deliver even better care.”

Montego Pet Nutrition: Boosting U.S. Reach with Rio Grande Service Center

South African pet food company Montego Pet Nutrition is expanding its U.S. footprint through a strategic partnership with Rio Grande Service Center. The collaboration will help roll out Montego’s Karoo Wild dog treats to 22 U.S. states.

“Rio Grande Service Center is proud to partner with Montego Pet Nutrition,” says Trent Green, CEO of Rio Grande Service Center. “They’re a family-owned company with a focus on quality and innovation—values that match our own.”

Founded in 2000, Montego Pet Nutrition currently exports to more than 20 countries worldwide.

The Buffalo Co: Exclusive UK Partnership with DECCO

English pet food maker The Buffalo Co has signed an exclusive deal with DECCO—the UK’s largest garden center wholesaler—to grow its presence in pet and garden retail.

The Buffalo Co offers natural dog treats and eco-friendly accessories, including ThermaCool Dog Bowls and Buffalo Bites (which come with clip-on carabiners). Through the partnership, the brand will leverage DECCO’s nationwide logistics network to reach more customers.

Based in Warwickshire, The Buffalo Co is a family-owned business that’s specialized in pet treats since 1987.

These moves show that pet care brands—from small, family-owned operations to larger players—are leaning into collaborations to get their products in front of more pet parents. Whether it’s landing in a big-box store or teaming up with a regional distributor, the goal is clear: to grow smarter, not just faster, and meet pet owners where they already shop.
